Things I learned this weekend:

Deet sprayed directly in the eyes and mouth sucks. A lot. Your eyes will burn and your mouth will go numb. Trust me.

Cotton socks are the devil (they cause blisters, something I’d attributed to my orthotics before. I invested in a pair of these socks before I left Squamish)

I’ve been playing around a bit with some WordPress stats plugins, including an RSS feed subscriber count.
I just had a look and see that I have 13 (!) RSS subscribers.
Wow.

Rode my bike outside today for the first time since the winter hit. I say outside because I bought a trainer a few months ago and have been using it fairly steadily, but even with Arrested Development and Battlestar Galactica as entertainment, there is only so much bike-riding inside a girl can do.
